Windows Update

These instructions assume you have previously installed Race Director 2011.

Please Check: In Race Director, go to Help -> About RD and confirm that you are using Race Director 2011 before downloading and installing this update.

Select the "Update.exe" link below and then choose the "Run" option to begin the update installation.
After the download completes successfully, execute the update by double clicking on the downloaded file.
After the installation is complete, the file Update.exe can be deleted.

Recent 2011 Changes:

01/08/2011 Initial Update

01/15/2011 Several changes to the Announcer screens. Added "Splash Message" capability, added the ability to show subsequent reads (useful if you have a multiple segment loop course), different setup options for when it's an announcer mat vs. when reads come directly from the finish line.

01/31/2011 Finally found an fixed the nuisance bug that would mysteriously turn on the setting to show DNF on results reports.

02/20/2011 Corrected a problem on the Team Relay results reports related to the index not being found.

Race Director Support Plans

Normal Support - If you use do not use Race Director as a part of a commercial timing service and expect to use the system for more than one race annually.

Single Race - You use Race Director for one race annually. Please provide the name of the race and the 2011 date via email.

Commercial - You use Race Director as a part of your commercial timing business. With this plan, you gain unlimited support and a few custom software changes during the year.

Extended - With this plan, you gain unlimited support and access to Race Director 2012 as it is developed. Enhancement suggestions will be added directly to RD 2012 whenever possible - otherwise a custom solution will be provided.
